Use of our online shop

When you access our website, your browser automatically transmits information to our servers. This includes, in particular, your IP address, the date and time of access, your browser type, browser version, operating system, referrer URL, and the pages you visited.

Orders and Contract Processing

When you order products through our online shop, we process the personal data necessary for the execution of the purchase contract. Shopify

Our online shop is operated on the Shopify e-commerce platform.

For customers within the European Economic Area, the provider is Shopify International Limited, Victoria Buildings, 1–2 Haddington Road, Dublin 4, Ireland.

Shopify provides the technical infrastructure for operating our online shop. This includes hosting services, order management, customer accounts, security features, and other technical functions of the shop.

Processing is carried out for the performance of the contract pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR and on the basis of our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR in the secure and efficient operation of our online shop.

Payment Processing

We work with various payment service providers to process payments. Depending on the payment method selected, the data required for payment processing is transmitted to the respective payment provider.

This may include, in particular, your name, billing address, email address, order value, and transaction-related information.

This data is processed for the performance of the purchase agreement pursuant to Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.

Shipping and Logistics

We work with external logistics and shipping service providers to deliver your order. For this purpose, we transmit the personal data required for delivery, in particular your name, delivery address, email address, and, if applicable, your telephone number.

This data is processed for the performance of the purchase agreement concluded with you pursuant to Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.

The selection of the shipping company used is made by our contracted logistics partners and depends on the destination country, shipping method, availability, and operational requirements. Data is only shared to the extent necessary for delivery.

Customer Service and Contact

When you contact us by email, contact form, or other means, we process the personal data you provide to handle your inquiry.

This includes, in particular, your name, contact details, and the content of your message.

Processing is carried out for the performance of pre-contractual measures or for the fulfillment of a contract in accordance with Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, or based on our legitimate interest in the efficient handling of customer inquiries in accordance with Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Newsletter and Marketing Communications

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we will use your email address to regularly send you information about SKROSS products, offers, promotions, and news.

To fulfill our contractual and legal obligations, as well as to provide and optimize our online shop, personal data may be transferred to external recipients, insofar as this is necessary for the respective processing purposes.

Data Retention Period

We store personal data only as long as necessary for the respective processing purposes or as required by law.

Personal data processed in connection with orders, contracts, invoices, or other business transactions is stored for the duration of the statutory retention periods under commercial, tax, and accounting law. These periods are generally up to ten years.

Data from customer service inquiries and other correspondence is stored only as long as necessary to process your request, document our business relationship, or fulfill legal obligations.
